Choose a cable drum trailer for the largest drum you need to move: the diameter across the flanges and the overall width. The TOWMATE Python comes in two sizes: up to Ø 1700 × 1090 mm (1800 kg) and up to Ø 2500 × 1280 mm (3500 kg), with hydraulic loading and unloading. How do I measure my drum?
Measure the outside diameter across the flanges and the overall width from flange to flange. Choose for the largest drum you expect to move.
Which driving licence do I need?
A B licence lets you tow a trailer up to 750 kg, or heavier as long as car and trailer together stay within 3500 kg. Code 96 allows a combination up to 4250 kg. Beyond that, for a trailer up to 3500 kg, you need a BE licence. This applies in the Netherlands and Belgium.
