Frequently asked questions

Can I drive a ride-on mower onto a trailer?

Yes, with a ramp door or ramps. Check bed width and payload; a ride-on mower with collector easily weighs a few hundred kilos.

Mesh sides or canopy?

Mesh sides hold green waste and let wind through. A canopy keeps material dry and out of sight.

Which driving licence do I need?

A B licence lets you tow a trailer up to 750 kg, or heavier as long as car and trailer together stay within 3500 kg. Code 96 allows a combination up to 4250 kg. Beyond that, for a trailer up to 3500 kg, you need a BE licence. This applies in the Netherlands and Belgium.
