For a motorbike, quad or jet-ski a light, compact trailer is often enough. Up to and including 750 kg gross, a trailer in the Netherlands needs no registration of its own; it carries a repeat of the car's plate. Check the width between the mudguards, a good wheel channel or chock and enough lashing points. The TA-NO MOTOBIKE and JET-SKI and M-TEC Quad Master are built for these jobs.

Does a motorbike trailer need registration?
In the Netherlands not as long as it does not exceed 750 kg; it then carries a repeat of your car's plate. Belgium has its own plate rules; your dealer knows what applies.
Which driving licence do I need?
A B licence lets you tow a trailer up to 750 kg, or heavier as long as car and trailer together stay within 3500 kg. Code 96 allows a combination up to 4250 kg. Beyond that, for a trailer up to 3500 kg, you need a BE licence. This applies in the Netherlands and Belgium.
