TOWMATE Rhino Pro
For rubble, sand, soil and site waste, payload matters most: these loads are heavy per cubic metre. A tipper saves shovelling; a general duty trailer with mesh sides is more versatile for tools and materials. The M-TEC tipper and TOWMATE Ram and Rhino are in this category, all up to 3500 kg gross.
Frequently asked questions
How much rubble can I load?
Sand and rubble weigh roughly 1.2 to 2 tonnes per cubic metre. Work with the payload of the version rather than the body volume.
Tipper or mesh-sided trailer?
A tipper unloads itself, ideal for sand and rubble. A mesh-sided trailer is more versatile for tools, green waste and materials.
Which driving licence do I need?
A B licence lets you tow a trailer up to 750 kg, or heavier as long as car and trailer together stay within 3500 kg. Code 96 allows a combination up to 4250 kg. Beyond that, for a trailer up to 3500 kg, you need a BE licence. This applies in the Netherlands and Belgium.
